Are you a foodie coming to Barcelona? Then you definitely should consider El Bar, a gastronomic project located in the charming neighborhood of Sant Antoni, one of the top areas in the city these days.
Although it’s kind of a ‘tapas’ bar, El Bar offers some gourmet options, taking care of every detail and giving great importance to every one of its small dishes.
Opened since 2013, this restaurant directed by sommelier Sergi Gimenéz takes special care of their costumers, treating them as if they were in a true luxury restaurant. Chef Ramón del Río is the man in charge of their cuisine, that includes proposals such as a ‘gazpacho’ (a cold soup) of cherries with mascarpone cheese and yoghurt with caviar nacarii; the ‘pulpo a feira’, a traditional Galician octopus dish; a ceviche with yellow ají and much more.
If this wasn’t enough, El Bar also offers their costumers the possibility of renting a private saloon with a capacity of 30 people, where they will be able to enjoy a great dinner in an intimate atmosphere.
